After each wear
Rinse in cold fresh water immediately after exposure to saltwater, chlorine, or sunscreen. These break down fibres over time if left in.
Washing
Hand wash in cold water with a small amount of mild detergent. Don't machine wash. Don't wring. Press gently between a towel to remove excess water.
Drying
Dry flat in the shade. Direct sunlight will fade colour. Do not tumble dry.
Storage
Store dry. Never store damp. It weakens the fabric and causes odour.
Daily Wear

Washing
Machine wash on a gentle cold cycle. Turn inside out before washing to preserve colour and surface finish. Use a mild detergent.
Drying
Air dry flat or hang on a wide hanger. Avoid wire hangers. They distort the shoulder line over time. Do not tumble dry on high heat.
Ironing
Iron on low heat inside out. For linen pieces, a light steam works best while the fabric is still slightly damp.
Storage
Fold knitwear. Don't hang it, as it will stretch. Hang woven pieces on wide hangers in a cool, dry space.
Sportswear

Washing
Machine wash on a gentle cold cycle after every use. Don't use fabric softener. It coats technical fibres and reduces performance over time.
Drying
Air dry only. Tumble drying degrades stretch fabrics and moisture-wicking finishes.
Stains
Treat stains immediately with cold water. Don't rub. Blot gently. For stubborn marks, apply a small amount of mild soap directly before washing.
Storage
Store clean and fully dry. Fold rather than hang to preserve the shape of stretch pieces.
General advice
Less is more
Wash only when necessary. Frequent washing shortens the life of any garment. Air pieces between wears when possible.
